Adsense Dissent?

Steve Sabludowsky writes
From a publisher’s standpoint, the nickels and dimes we get for the incredible space we give up on our websites is patently unfair. In a good advertising market, it is much more lucrative to lavish our pages with real ads than to allow Google Ads to make billions and for the publishers to get next to zilch.

There will be a sea change. Google will be forced to change its revenue sharing model or else you won’t see those Google ads on our published pages. Certainly not on mine.
But I think Google does provide adsense account application for business users, so why don't the publishers go to participate this programm? Sure they will make some if not most revenues just taking advantage of their bulk context information. In the fact, I noticed some agencies already did, like Malaysia's most distributed theStar newspaper.
