Good Advices for FIFA WORLD CUP 2006 Fans Travelling to Berlin

Travel Channel of UK also offers 5 good and sincere suggestions for any fans who are going to watch the football match on the spot:
1.The best way to get around during the World Cup tournament is by public transport. Buy yourself a WelcomeCard from just €16 for 2 days. This gives you and three children under the age of 14 unlimited travel on all Berlin's public transport AND it also gives you 50% off lots of major tourist attractions.

2.If you're lucky enough to be the proud owner of a World Cup ticket then don’t forget it gives you FREE access to all of Berlin's public transport throughout the tournament.

3.Even if you don't have match tickets there are plenty of places you can watch the games on giant screens free of charge. My favourite is the Sony Centre at Potsdamer Platz where you'll not only have a great view but there are plenty of places to get a beer and a currywurst!

4.Do NOT buy World Cup tickets from ticket touts. Not only will you end up paying a small fortune but the Olympic Stadium's new electronic ticketing system means you won't get in unless you are the original purchaser of the ticket!

5.During the World Cup the Olympic Stadium WILL NOT be open for tourist visits so if you’re desperate to see where it all happens time your trip accordingly.
