Cyst Removed from Siberian TigerFrom CRI:
Surgeons perform an operation to remove a cyst from the left nasal cavity of an eight-month-old Siberian tiger, in the Hengdaohezi Feline Breeding Center (中国道河子猫科营养繁殖中心) in the suburbs of Harbin, northeastern China's Heilongjiang province, on Wednesday, June 20, 2007. The tiger had been suffering from breathing difficulties due to the cyst, which might have developed as a threat to life, experts said. Surgeons from a local hospital were urged to the center, where they successfully removed the cyst. The Hengdaohezi center is the largest breeding center for Siberian tigers in China.
