A giant inflatable house thrills a crowd in Wuyuan, central China's Jiangxi Province, by setting a record as the world’s largest circular inflatable house.
It has a diameter of 24 meters, slightly bigger than the size of a basketball court. consumed nearly 1.3 tonnes of materials.
It took 10 days for more than thirty skilled workers from a local factory producing consumer products to finish building this giant house. It costs 160,000 yuan (~US$22,000) and can withstand the strong typhoon.
To inflate it up, the circular house needs 12 air blowers to work simultaneously for more than 20 minutes. Once inflated, it is as high as a 3-storey building and can accommodate up to 600 people. The house can be used as a temporary exhibition hall. Link via SN
