Asafa Powell Sets New 100m World Record at 9.74 Seconds

Asafa Powell, the Jamaican sprinter, the fastest man on earth, set the new world record with a time of 9.74 seconds (breaking his own 9.78 seconds record) in the 100 meters at the 37th IAAF Grand Prix meeting in Rieti September 9, 2007.
