Leeland Eisenberg is a man having a history of mental illness in New Hampshire. He reportedly went through a divorce and had a history of alcohol abuse. He also had previously spent time in jail.
Today he should have been scheduled to appear in court for a domestic violence hearing, but at around 1:00 pm this afternoon, Leeland Eisenber, with a 'bomb' being strapped on himself, stormed into Hillary Clinton's campaign office in Rochester and took five persons including a baby as hostage.
According to CNN, Lee Eisenberg complained of lack of access to mental health care because he was repeatedly neglected and didn't have the "thousands of dollars" he was told he'd need to pay for his treatment.
At the end of a 5-hour long standoff, Eisenberg eventually surrendered to the police and the incident was over. AFP reported he was charged with several offences including kidnapping. #Tags:
