As the photo above shows, Former Pakistan's Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was applying makeup for an assembly later held in Rawalpindi's Liaqat Bagh Park, Dec. 27, 2007. Bhutto, the head of Parkistan People's Party (PPP) was assasinated (video) in a gun and bomb attack after the rally.
The slain Pakistani opposition leader was believed to die from bullet wounds. But Dr. Mussadiq Khan, a surgeon who treated her at Rawalpindi General Hospital, said that Bhutto died from shrapnel that hit her on the right side of the skull.
On Bhutoo burial, husband Asif Ali Zardari (in white cap) and son Bilawal scatter rose petals on the grave.
