Queen Elizabeth II Launches YouTube Channel

"The Royal Channel - The Official Channel of the British Monarchy" on www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel just went live hours ago! The channel now has 18 videos featuring Her Majesty's first televised Christmas broadcast in 1957, her mother's wedding, 1923 and among others. BBC reported that the Buckingham Palace hoped the annual Christmas speech of Queen Elizabeth, who "always keeps abreast with new ways of communicating with people", would be "more accessible to younger people and those in other countries".
