10-Ton US Spy Satellite Crashing to Earth

A large US spy satellite has lost power and is expected to crash back to Earth in late February or March. The defunct spy apparatus which is believed an experimental imagery satellite launched in 2006 and now is de-orbiting has the size of a bus, impending a threat of hitting anywhere on the Earth. As it still contains unfinished highly toxic hydrazine fuel, the environmental concerns may be raised after it plunges to the Earth out of control. TimesOnline speculated the US government could destroy the unmaneuverable satellite by opting to employ America’s new laser weapons for use against incoming missiles, which are now being tested on board a modified Boeing jumbo jet.
