Britney Spears - who was already distraught at having access to her two sons to telephone access only - was pictured sitting barefoot as she sobbed on the kerb outside her LA home on Monday (Jan 28) night, with only her pet dog named London for comfort.
Her breakdown came after a quarrel with friend and manager Sam Lufti over her relationship with boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
"The feud between Ghalib and Lutfi has been raging for weeks. They hate each other, Sam doesn't think Adnan is good enough for Britney and Adnan hates the control Sam has on her. Britney's caught in the middle." Daily mail cited sources as saying.
Moments later Britney reportedly called Adnan to pick her up, but the photographer was banned from entering Britney’s house by security, on orders from Sam who also sent the snapper a text saying: “You’re a manic trigger. If you continue to have any contact, you’ll kill her. It’s your decision.”
The star's latest crisis also comes as Lutfi admitted Britney was suffering from "mental issues".
Britney's mother, dad and her pregnant 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears consoled her after the meltdown.
