Susan Wright , 27, an once stay-at-home mother of two, was accused of committing murder on her husband Jeff Wright, a 34-year-old carpet salesman who was stabbed 193 times with a hunting knife on Jan.13, 2003.
Susan, picture left (via), admitted stabbing her husband approximately 200 times to death, and burying his body outside their Houston home in a hole he had dug for a backyard fountain. The jurors convicted Susan and gave her 25 years together with a probation of life. But Susan said she was a victim of domestic abuse and that she killed her husband in self-defence, and now she is seeking a new trial.
