Mischa Barton plays young Ethel Ann, the fiancee of dying pilot Teddy Gordon (by Stephen Amell) in Oscar-winning director Richard Attenborough's new movie Closing the Ring. Talking about her sex scene with Amell when promoting the film in Tokyo Wednesday, Mischa Barton didn't think there was any problem baring her body. Instead, she called herself a believer in "true love."
"I don't have a problem with nudity. Giving herself to Teddy, it's not your average sex scene. The nudity is about her innocence. There is something tragic and heartbreaking about it. Perhaps to contemporary women it seems a bit more far-fetched but I believe in eternal love, in true love like that."
