Tom Mahoney, husband of Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross, has been diagnosed with an unspecified cancer, People is reporting.

"He is currently under treatment and is responding very well," Cross's rep Heidi Slan told to the mag.

Tom Mahoney, a stockbroker, and Marcia Cross stated dating early in 2005 and got engaged in August of the same year. The couple wed in a lavish wedding at Church of Our Savior Episcopal Paris in San Gabriel in June, 2006.
Their twin daughters Eden and Savannah Mahoney who were conceived after in vitro fertilization were born in February, 2007.
