Marge Simpson Biography and Video of Drawing this Cartoon Character

Marjorie Marge Simpson is a fictional character featured in the animated television series The Simpsons and is voiced by Julie Kavner. She is the well-meaning and extremely patient wife of Homer Simpson. Her most notable physical feature is her blue hair, styled into an improbably high beehive. Marge Simpson is 34 years old and her shoe size is 13AA. Marge is 6' 2" tall without hair, and 8' 6" tall with hair. Marge was named after, and loosely based on, Margaret "Marge" Groening, mother of series creator Matt Groening. In many ways, Marge Simpson is modelled on the stereotypical 1950s suburban housewife, by using stereotypes such as her faux pearl necklace.

Shipoopi Video: Family Guy Peter Griffin Singing the 1957 Musical Song

Shipoopi is a song in the 1957 musical The Music Man. The song is sung by the character Marcellus Washburn, friend of Harold Hill. In the play, the song is about finding love and occurs at about the same time that Marian begins to fall for Professor Hill’s wooing.

In the Family Guy episode “Patriot Games,” which originally aired January 29, 2006, the song is sung by the character Peter Griffin to celebrate scoring a touchdown for the New England Patriots. The animation recreates much of the original choreography.

Banned El Jueves Spanish Prince Felipe Cartoon

The cartoon which is deemed to have insulted the Spanish royal family depicting Crown Prince Felipe and his wife Letizia Ortiz having sex were published on Spanish weekly satirical magazine El Jueves. 

The cartoonists of the magazine were possibly objecting to the plan that the government will pay couples 2,500 EUR, or nearly $3,500 for each new baby born.

Juan del Olmo, judge from the Spanish National Court, has ordered to identify the author of the cartoon and confiscate all the copies of 18-24 July, 2007  issue of the popular comic magazine from the newsstands and other selling points in Spain.
