Avril Lavigne's hit song Girlfriend was accused of ripping off I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend originally performed by '70s band Rubinoos. Songwriters Tommy Dunbar and James Gangwer have filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against Lavigne and her co-writers. The first court date has been set for August 28 in Oakland. The video above called Avril Lavigne / The Rubinoos DANCE POSE MIX III is a counterpoint compilation (highlight) between the similarities of their respective song.
