Banned El Jueves Spanish Prince Felipe Cartoon

banned El jueves Crown Prince FelipeThe cartoon which is deemed to have insulted the Spanish royal family depicting Crown Prince Felipe and his wife Letizia Ortiz having sex were published on Spanish weekly satirical magazine El Jueves

The cartoonists of the magazine were possibly objecting to the plan that the government will pay couples 2,500 EUR, or nearly $3,500 for each new baby born.

Juan del Olmo, judge from the Spanish National Court, has ordered to identify the author of the cartoon and confiscate all the copies of 18-24 July, 2007  issue of the popular comic magazine from the newsstands and other selling points in Spain.
