Japanese consumer electronic appliances manufacturer Sharp Co. unveils 16 new G-series Aquos LCD TVs at a launch event in Tokyo July 2. The new TVs feature a compact design with the industry's thinnest profile of 8.1 cm . All models are equipped with Advanced Super View LCD Panel to reproduce smooth pictures even with fast-motion images, and strengthened picture quality, design, audio quality, and environmental performance. In addition to this, all models feature Kameyama Double-Speed Advanced Super View LCD Panel to reproduce smooth pictures even with fast-motion images, and feature a contrast ratio of 900:1 (dark room contrast ratio of 2000:1) and 120Hz frame rate.
