Hydrocephalus Boy Liu Jing Receives Surgery on Deformed Skull

Liu Jing, 9, suffering from hydrocephalus at his birth and later the deformed skull, received a 13-hour surgery on July 15, 2007 and is in stable situation now. The boy is from Shan County of Hezhe, Shangdong Province. The previously extraordinarily swollen head had severely affected his development. At a mere weight of only 15kg, he even couldn't walk smoothly by himself without other's help. His family has spent all of their belongings (house also sold) and owed 100, 000 Yuan to get him treated in the hospital. Before admission to the hospital in Xiamen, the boy was begging at the city's street of Fujian Province.
