Michael Cordero, Boitumelo McCallum's Murder and Boyfriend

Boitumelo McCallum, the 20-year-old daughter of professors Teboho Moja and Robert McCallum at New York University, was slained and her decomposed body was uncovered on Sunday wrapped in bedding in her mother’s apartment in Greenwich Village of NYC last week. And her on-again-off-again boyfriend was the prime suspect in the killing. Now the man turned out to be Michael Cordero. The 23-year-old living at 216 West 62nd Street was caught by police after he committed an apparent suicide by slitting his wrists on the house's rooftop. Link: NYT
